ABOUT OLIVER ASKEW 

From the earliest days of his career the young American’s glowing talent attracted strong attention, and in 2011 elite karting outfit Ocala Gran Prix bestowed him with an opportunity to demonstrate his ability at a much higher level. With his undeniable speed and highly analytical approach to setting up his racing machinery, to say that he didn’t disappoint would be an understatement. A series of assured performances saw the bright prospect upstage several of the world’s best karters to finish second in his first international championship, before taking the Florida Winter Tour junior title only a year later.

 

Further success followed Oliver’s graduation to the next echelon of karting. Throughout the course of his maiden senior season in 2013 he outclassed the competition to seize the United States Rotax MAX championship crown, thus becoming the only rookie driver in history to win the national title. Not only that, but he also went on to seize the Pan-American title in the same year. With his ever-increasing skill and perceptive technical ability taking him to further championship glory in the 2014 at the Florida Winter Tour senior series. In 2015 Oliver made the switch to Birel ART and won his maiden European BNL Senior Max crown in 2015 along with the US OPEN title and the FWT DD2 championship earlier this year.
